garden party and a touch of sunshine

when many parts of the world are bundled up ready for the first snowfall, somewhere delightful garden parties are in the making. one could eat up these yellow, french bistro chairs which adds the pop of color that make this party sing. {credit lonny magazine; celerie kemble}

all white holidays

there's something magical about using all white decorations with just a touch of silver gray. perhaps it gives off that feeling of a first, quiet snowfall that settles over the room or simple just letting the textures do all the work. either way it's a lovely twist to the holiday season. {country living magazine}

it's that time of year...

some of you may be just finishing up your holiday card orders and other scrambling to find the perfect card to go with your favorite yearly photo. this year i'm choosing dutch door press as my letterpress card of choice. not only do the paper goods ring a bell of vintage, each and every print is a work of art. i've stopped in on papél new york a yummy little shop in brooklyn's neighborhood, cobble hill.

cozy spaces, warm nights

There is something so restful about an all white bedroom with a touch of deep gray. Spots of the dark color add wonderful focal points around the room. I especially love this warm and fuzzy gray throw from Layla Grayce {right}. It just pulls the room together in such a yummy, rich way. Sweet dreams!
